The Ogun State Government and Arise Integrated Industrial Platform have established a project implementation team for the takeoff of the largest $2 billion clothing production company in Africa.

ARISE Integrated Industrial Platform is a multinational company based in India. With the Ogun government, they will need to identify what needs to be done and when, as well as jointly establish a schedule for each task in preparation for the project's groundbreaking ceremony in September this year. According to the governor of the state, Prince Dapo Abiodun, with a production capacity of 100 tons per hour, 1,000 tons per day, 40,000 tons per month, and about 350,000 tons per year, the factory would produce about 4.4 million garments per day and employ between 120,000 and 150,000 direct and indirect

The $2 billion investment, Abiodun noted, would be located in the airport city's special agri-food processing zone and would transform the state into a clothing center not only in the country but throughout Africa.
