On Saturday, July 26, 2025, the mayor of Bondoukou, Ouattara Anzoumana, announced at a gala dinner organized in honor of new high school graduates, financial support of 15 million CFA francs for young people and women. This funding will support their empowerment and strengthen their civic engagement.

More than 225 high school graduates took part in the festive dinner animated by musical performances, in the presence of several municipal councillors and the president of Bondoukou Communal Youth (JCB), Idrissa Ouattara. He welcomed the “exceptional” mobilization around the event and the mayor's numerous initiatives to promote academic excellence. Ouattara Anzoumana announced financial support of 10 million FCFA for women and five million for young people, during a major ceremony scheduled for August 30 in the Lycée district. This empowerment program, financed from own funds, will be extended to the various districts of the town. He emphasized the importance of patriotic youth, well-trained, disciplined and aware of their civic responsibilities. He urged high school graduates to remain united, especially in this election year. “The real fight is the evolution of your family, not the violence or the destruction of our country,” he said.
