SAFT, a subsidiary of TotalEnergies, has just been awarded a contract by Eiffage Energie Systèmes for the supply of a 10 MW energy storage system (ESS) to the Boundiali solar photovoltaic power plant in Côte d'Ivoire.

The company specializing in battery manufacturing will host a 10 MW energy storage system. This solar power plant symbolizes the government's ambition to move towards cleaner energy. The energy storage system provided by SAFT will strengthen the capacity and smooth the intermittent production of boundiali's 37.5 MW solar power plant, operated by Côte d'Ivoire Energies. This should ensure predictable and reliable power to the local network.
