Supported by fund investment flows, copper prices reached their highest level in two years at the end of the week after surpassing a strong resistance level of $10,000 per ton.

Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange rose by 1.1% to 9,971.50 dollars per ton at 06:30 GMT, while the most traded copper contract in June on the Shanghai Futures Exchange rose by 1.7% to 80,680 yuan (11,135.80 dollars) per ton. LME copper was on track on a weekly basis for the fourth straight week of gains
