The fifth edition of the Africa Financial Summit (Afis) will be held from November 3 to 4, 2025 in Casablanca. It is an unmissable event for decision-makers in the African financial industry.

The 2025 edition of Afis will focus on the need for strategic autonomy in Africa: “Our capital, our power: let's release Africa's financial sovereignty”. It is supported by Jeune Afrique Media Group in partnership with La Société Financière Internationale (Ifc), and the support of major Moroccan and African financial institutions

AFIS 2025 proposes to mobilize African domestic resources, harmonize regulatory frameworks and build true financial sovereignty. Pension funds, insurance companies, fintechs, banks, stock exchanges and sovereign wealth funds are called upon to jointly meet the challenge of financing infrastructure, supporting SMEs, covering new risks and pan-African integration

According to Amir Ben Yahmed, President of the Africa Financial Summit, said: “this edition in Casablanca embodies the urgent need to modernize our instruments and mobilize our own capital to focus on strategic projects in order to consolidate our economic development. We need to make financial sovereignty the pillar of growth and inclusion on our continent.”
