A 2019 Lamborghini Urus, is believed to be linked to convicted Ghanaian fraudster Nana Kwabena Amuah, who is currently serving a term of seven years in prison in the United States. It was owned by the Ghanaian music star Shatta Wale, whose real name is Charles Nii Armah. However, Wale insists that he has no connection to Amuah and claims that he is only a “third party owner” of the car. He criticized the authorities on social media, saying that heavily armed agents had come to his house for no reason
.The Ghanaian artist said he bought the Lamborghini for 150,000 dollars, with supporting documents. For their part, the authorities claimed that the car was part of efforts to recover the $7 million in compensation ordered by an American court as part of the fraud conviction of Mr. Amuah and his group allegedly impersonated salesmen and incited nearly 70 organizations to transfer money to fake companies.
