Oil prices remained stable on Monday. Investors are evaluating the uncertainty surrounding trade negotiations between the United States and China, clouding the outlook for global growth and fuel demand, as well as the prospect of increased supply by OPEC+

American West Texas Intermediate crude lost 16 cents, or 0.25%, to $62.86 per barrel. Brent crude futures were down 15 cents, or 0.22%, to $66.72 per barrel at 12:04 GMT. Brent futures rose slightly in the previous two sessions, but still saw a weekly drop of more than 1% on Friday due to concerns about the impact of tariffs on the global economy

BNP Paribas expects the price of Brent to reach $60 per barrel in the second quarter of this year, the note said.
