On October 14, 2022, a partnership agreement was signed between the Priority Investment Guarantee Fund (Fongip) and the African Solidarity Fund (FSA).

Strengthen the intervention capacities of the two Fongip and FSA structures and to further intensify Fongip's activities to support Senegalese companies in through an attractive guarantee system that meets the needs of the financial ecosystem. This is the objective pursued by the two partners by formalizing an agreement of understanding. Indeed, the FSA will be responsible for putting online guarantees that may allow Fongip to intervene to cover investment projects in sectors of activity not covered, which are more eligible for FSA criteria. Similarly, this line will make it possible to intervene on files requesting guarantees in excess of 500 million FCFA. And also on issues that fall outside the scope of SMEs and SMEs.
