On September 15, 2022, the company Assurances Générales du Cameroun (AGC) opened a new subsidiary in the Central African Republic.

With the intention of allowing the Central African insurance market to access various services specifically in the field of fire/accidents-miscellaneous risks and Transport (IARDT), the AGC has expanded its activities in the subregion by opening a subsidiary in the Central African Republic. An initiative that will benefit from the expertise of the parent company AGF Cameroon in order to conquer the clientele that Allianz Centrafrica Assurances, UAC Assurances, UAC-iard Assurances already operates for a cumulative turnover of 6.2 billion FCFA (9.5 million dollars) in 2021. It should be remembered that in this country, the insurance market is in a wasteland.
