The West African Development Bank (BOAD) and several other banks signed an important credit agreement with the Platform on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 Industrielle d'Adétikopé (PIA). This stage makes it possible to complete the financing plan for the construction of the Platform's infrastructures.

The project to create an Integrated Industrial Platform aims to attract investors with a view to developing industrial and multisectoral activities, in particular the processing of local agricultural and mining products. This Togolese initiative has received the agreement of several banks operating in the subregion. Thus, after the loan contract for a total amount of 20 billion FCFA granted by Boad in October 2021, the institution joined the African Export Import Bank, Afreximbank, Ecobank Togo, Bia Togo and the Attijariwafa Bank Group to boost Adetikope's Industrial Platform.

With a total amount of 145 million euros (over 95 billion FCFA), this agreement makes it possible to complete the financing plan for the construction of the infrastructures of the Adé Industrial Platform ; Tikopé, an important project for Togo's economy 🇹🇬 with an overall cost estimated at 247 million euros. Afreximbank, Ecobank Togo and BIA Togo provided financing of 85 million euros, 45 million euros and 15 million euros respectively. As part of this project, BOAD also acts as a security officer. The West African Bank's support is part of the DJOLIBA 2021-2025 Plan, in its axes 1 and 2, aimed respectively at strengthening regional integration and creating productive value and jobs in support of States and the private sector.
