The Palais des Sports of Abidjan Treichville hosts the first edition of the International Cotton - Textile - Clothing Exhibition of Abidjan (SICTHA). The meeting is scheduled to be held from September 28 to October 2, 2022 on the theme "The industrial transformation in the sector Cotton - Textile, growth of African countries: case of Côte d'Ivoire.

Highlighting the spirit of creativity of the artisans of the cotton sector is the objective of this event. For the communication officer of SICTHA, it will allow to put a special emphasis on the contribution of women and youth in the transformation of the products of the sector especially in the field of the production of soaps, oil, cakes, thread for weaving and printing of the clothing fashion. Several activities are planned during this exhibition, including meetings B to B, conferences, exhibitions, training workshops, demonstration of handicrafts activities, panels, awards winners. SMEs and large companies including artisans are expected for this first edition.
