Malteries Soufflet opens in the Bole Lemi Industrial Park in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It is the company's 28th malting plant on the African continent.

Ocesticated on 10 hectares on the outskirts of Addis Ababa, Soufflet Malt Ethiopia enjoys a strategic location, close to malting barley crops. Equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, the malting plant has an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons per year and aims to reach 110,000 tons in the short term.

This new malting plant is also the first in the world to be zero carbon emissions thanks to the use of energy produced by hydroelectric dams.
