The Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) has just revealed an increase in the prices of the main raw materials exported by the countries of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) in March 2022.

The prices of the main exported raw materials increased at the end of March 2022 compared to the same period a year ago. According to BCEAO data,  the prices of these raw materials have risen to varying degrees. Thus, the price of coffee recorded an increase of 51.6%, cotton (+42.7%), rubber (+23.3%) and gold (+13.3%).
