Brazil is committed to strengthening Benin's capacities in the areas of cashew production, processing and marketing. Thus, the country releases 832 million CFA francs to support Benin in the development of the cashew sector.

The Minister of Agriculture Gaston Dossouhoui and the Brazilian Ambassador to Benin signed the partnership agreement for the implementation of the project last Thursday. The program in the form of financial support of about CFAF 832 million aims to increase cashew production in Benin. In addition to cashew and cotton, Brazil is committed to supporting the development of food products essential for the sustainability of the school canteen program.
