Depuis hier mercredi 13 septembre 2023 la première edition of the Guinea Fintech Week has been launched in a hotel establishment in Conakry. This event is scheduled to take place over three days.

Guinea Fintech Week is a forum that brought together regulators, SMEs and startups to discuss the challenges they face, the regulations in force, and the opportunities offered by various business sectors, with the aim of developing digital payment solutions to facilitate financial transactions and promote financial inclusion, according to one of the organizers of this event, Ibrahima Kalil Kaba. This first edition revolves around the theme: “the regulatory challenges and opportunities of Fintech in Guinea”. During these three days, experts from various backgrounds will participate in panels to share their experiences and contribute to the search for solutions to further facilitate financial transactions
