The European Commission wants to add Kenya and Namibia to the list of high-risk third country jurisdictions.

Kenya and Namibia could end up on the list of high-risk third country jurisdictions with strategic shortcomings in their anti-money laundering and terrorist financing (AML/CFT) regimes.

The commission is also proposing to remove Barbados, Gibraltar, Panama, Uganda, and the United Arab Emirates from the list. With these changes, the list would thus include twenty-two jurisdictions.
