Data compiled by the National Institute of Statistics and Economic and Demographic Studies (INSEED) indicated in its latest quarterly statistical bulletin that Togo exported products to the rest of the world for a value of 256.4 billion FCFA in the fourth quarter of 2023.

“ Petroleum oils or oils from bituminous minerals” proved to be the main product exported by Togo over the last three months of 2023. They total a value of 69 billion CFA francs, representing 27.0% of quarterly exports. For their part, “Natural calcium phosphates, natural alumino-calcium phosphates and phosphate chalks” took second place, with a value of 38 billion CFA francs, covering 15.1% of exports. Also, soy-based products (cake and other solid residues from soybean oil extraction) are exported for a value of 14 billion CFA francs, representing a relative share of 5.5% of

exports.

In addition, “Plastic bags, bags, pouches and cones” are sold to the rest of the world for a value of 13.6 billion FCFA (5.3% of the country's exports), Beauty Products, for 13.16 billion FCFA (5.1%), Refined palm oil and its fractions, at a value of 8.9 billion FCFA (3.5% of exports), other beauty products and extensions (Wigs, beards, eyebrows, eyelashes, locks and similar articles made of hair, hair or textile materials; articles of hair), for 8.3 billion CFA francs for 3.2%
