FCFA).

The market capitalization of the equity market increased by 28.14 billion FCFA, from 7,706.747 billion FCFA the day before to 7,734.887 billion FCFA the day before to 7,734.887 billion FCFA on February 8, 2024. In addition, the bond market fell slightly by 531 million FCFA, from 10 317.878 billion FCFA the day before to 10 317.347 billion FCFA on Thursday, February 8, 2024. The value of transactions fell again to 153.126 million FCFA against 316,952 million FCFA the day before.

As far as market activities are concerned, the three leading indices are back on their upturn. The largest increase was recorded by the BRVM Prestige index (an index combining all the values listed in the Prestige compartment), with 0.48% to 97.09 points against 96.63 points previously. The Composite Index (general stock market index) gained 0.36% to 207.91 points against 207.16 points the day before. The BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the Stock Exchange) rose by 0.41% to 104.31 points against 103.88 points

the day before.
