At 0728 GMT, the ruble was 0.2% weaker against the dollar at 89.89 and gained 0.2% to trade at 97.33 against the euro. It lost 0.3% against the yuan to 12.48. The ruble is still strongly supported by state currency sales, which represent the equivalent of 16.7 billion rubles ($185.8 million) per day.
