Endeavour Mining, a mining company based in London, announced on January 4, 2024 the dismissal for serious misconduct with immediate effect of its CEO Sébastien de Montessus.

Sébastien de Montessus headed the company in 2015. He oversaw the growth of Endeavour Mining over nearly a decade, to the point of making it the largest gold producer in West Africa. ç The Board of Directors ' in fact accuses the French driver Sébastien of Montessus, for authorizing an irregular payment of $5.9 million.
