For these annual results ending in December 2022, Unity Bank Plc recorded a pre-tax profit of 1.1 billion Naira to reach 57 billion Naira compared to 50.2 billion Naira, during the corresponding period in 2021.

A press release from the group indicates that its gross revenue increased by 13.1%. In its annual audited financial statements submitted to Nigeria Exchange Group Limited, the Bank recorded growth in key performance indicators, as reflected in interest income, loans and advances to customers, customer deposits, and profits. The Bank increased the profit before tax (PBT) by 1.1 billion naira, while the profit after tax was 941.4 million naira. Interest and similar income therefore grew significantly, up by 7.5% to close at 48.9 billion naira compared with 43.2 billion naira during the corresponding period
