At the end of the trading session on Friday, August 8, 2025, the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) recorded a record number of transactions.

The total value of transactions rose to 2.917 billion FCFA against 371.598 million FCFA the day before. The capitalization of the equity market fell by 9.034 billion, to 12,018.441 billion FCFA compared to 12,027.475 billion FCFA on August 6, 2025. As for the capitalization of the bond market, it is down by 2.833 billion, from 10 525.582 billion FCFA the day before to 10 522.749 billion FCFA this Friday

The indexes are all down. The BRVM Composite index thus fell by 0.07% to 311.72 points against 311.95 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM 30 index recorded a decrease of 0.15% to 150.76 points against 150.98 points the day before. The biggest drop was that of the BRVM Prestige index with -0.80% to 127.91 points against 128.94 points previously

The Flop 5 of the largest price drops is occupied respectively by Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.17% at 550 FCFA), Société Générale Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.71% at 25,400 FCFA), Société Générale Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.71% at 25,400 FCFA), Société Générale Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.71% at 25,400 FCFA), Société Générale Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.71% at 25,400 FCFA), Compagnie Ivoirienne d'Électrice (minus 2.27% at FCFA 550), Société Générale Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.71% at FCFA 550), Société Générale Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.71% at 25,400 FCFA), Société Générale 2,150 FCFA) and Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.84% to 4,810 FCFA).
