The High Authority for the Prevention and Combating of Corruption and Similar Offences (HAPLUCIA), in partnership with the ministries of Education and Higher Education, launched an innovative project in Lomé on July 29, 2025.

HAPLUCIA plans to integrate ethics and citizenship education into school curricula. This program has a significant budget of over 650 million CFA francs. Endowed with precise funding of 650,426,606 FCFA, this project will run from January 2025 to July 2028 and will follow five key steps to ensure its success and generalization. First, the establishment of a robust steering committee, followed by the development of innovative educational content. Then, a rigorous testing phase, then a gradual extension before a national generalization from 2027-2028
