With her double hat as a lawyer and a financier, Doussou Komara from Guinea has been appointed Compliance Director of S&P Dow Jones Indices for the Americas.

Doussou Komara will use her 15 years of experience in Financial Services and specifically in securities regulation, stock indices, market data, anti-counterfeiting rules and regulations.Doussou Komara will bring her 15 years of experience in Financial Services, specifically in securities regulation, stock indices, market data, AML rules, KYC rules and International Sanctions, to the region.

She will play a leading role in setting up the compliance policy division and promoting a compliance and ethics culture across DJI. As a reminder, Doussou joined S&P Global (formerly Standard & Poor's) in 2018 as a Data Specialist in the Index Data Acquisition & Content Subscription (iDACS) department, where she was responsible for negotiating market data licensing agreements.
