After Mauritius and Libya, Côte d'Ivoire is the 3rd African country and the 1st in the continental French-speaking area where people feel the happiest. This is what the World Happiness Report 2022 (WHR) reveals.

Based on the Gallup poll, WHR experts gave Côte d'Ivoire a score of 5.2 out of 10. This score ranks the country 88th in the world among the happiest countries. A performance justified by the level of GDP per inhabitant, the level of freedom, social support and life expectancy. According to the Legatum Institute, Côte d'Ivoire is the most prosperous country in the world over the past 10 years, but it is still ahead of the continent by Mauritius, 52nd in the world, and Libya, 86th in the world.
