At the end of the 14th edition of the Us-Africa Business Summit on July 22, 2022, in Morocco, the American government and African countries committed themselves to an even more dynamic and fruitful collaboration.

The panel marking the closing of the 14th edition of the United States-Africa Business Summit laid the groundwork for strengthening ties between the United States and Africa. The meeting was organized around the theme “Building the future together”. During the panel, Ryad Mezzour, Morocco's Minister of Industry and Commerce, said he was sorry that trade between the United States and Africa had not only fallen by 12% but also had not produced the expected results; while deploring that Africa be a forgotten continent.

For his part, the Ghanaian government representative urged Uncle Sam's country to make massive investments on the African continent. On behalf of the African private sector, Temitope Iluyemi asked Americans to look favourably on the African continent, seize the opportunities there, and work together. To do this, she wanted there to be no more regulatory barriers to further promote trade between the two parties.
