Over the past 8 years at the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, there have been a dozen reforms undertaken, including the structuring of the agricultural sector with the first agricultural orientation law, the reform of the law on rural land and the acceleration of the definition of the agricultural sector. delivery of land titles in the rural area.

Other results to be attributed to Mamadou Sangafowa are the structuring of the cocoa, coffee, cashew, cotton, rubber and palm sectors with the adoption of the law on inter-professional activities and the revival of investments in the agricultural sector through the National Agricultural Investment Program (PNIA 1 and 2).

The return of the International Exhibition of Agriculture and Animal Resources (SARA), the remarkable participation of Côte d'Ivoire in various international fairs such as SIA and SIAM, not to mention the establishment of the TRIPLE A Foundation in charge of the Adaptation of African Agriculture to climate change, have enabled Ivorian agriculture to position itself as one of the most efficient.

Gaoussou Touré also praised the work of his predecessor. He recalled the ambition to make Côte d'Ivoire a rice exporting country by 2030.
