The National Units met in Ouagadougou on 02 August 2022. The meetings were held under the presence of the Commissioner in charge of the Department of Enterprise Development, Mines, Energy, and Digital Economy, Paul Koffi KOFFI.

The objective of the meeting was to review the draft Directive on the legal and institutional framework for PPPs and the PPP Framework Strategy in the Community with an action plan taking into account the observations of Member States with a view to their submission to the statutory Council of Ministers in September 2022. As a reminder, the PPP framework process in WAEMU aims to harmonize the provisions, similar to those governing public procurement, while ensuring overall consistency.
