Benin wants to raise 60 billion FCFA on the WAEMU financial market. To this end, the country will issue Assimilable Treasury Bonds (OAT) on June 17. Benin will issue OAT that mature in 3 years, on June 18, 2024. The amount put up for auction is 60 billion CFA francs. The interest rate is 5.2% and the value date set at June 18, 2021. As is often the case, the nominal unit value is 10 thousand CFA francs. Recall that last month, Benin had already issued similar treasury bonds.
