At the end of its 122nd ordinary session held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 by videoconference, Boad approved 3 refinancing lines in favor of Coris Bank International Mali, Bridge Bank and BGFIBank Côte d'Ivoire.

Boad is trying to support WAEMU SMEs in the post-covid-19 recovery. The development finance institution has approved a total of six loans for a total amount of CFAF 81 billion.

The first line of 10 billion CFA francs should allow the Malian subsidiary of Coris Bank International to support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the WAEMU, by improving their access to bank financing.

The facility made available to the Ivorian Bridge Bank Group (BBG CI), of 10 billion FCFA, will be used to help Ivorian companies to restart their activities hit hard by the covid-19 health crisis.

The Ivorian subsidiary of BGFIBank (BGFIBank CI) will benefit from short-term support of 10 billion FCFA to grant revolving facilities to companies involved in the 2020-2021 cashew campaign in Côte d'Ivoire.
