announces a fall in inflation in the UEMAO area.
Inflation fell to 0.8% in September 2025,
after reaching 1.1% in August. An encouraging dynamic, while
still stood at 2.9% in December 2024. This evolution places Togo
well below the 3% threshold set by the Economic and Monetary Union
West African (UEMOA) as a criterion for macroeconomic convergence. In a
regional context marked by inflation rates above 5% in several
country, this performance is characterized by its stability.
