Turkey is targeting trade worth 40 billion dollars with Africa for the year 2025 against 37 billion dollars in 2024. This was revealed by Ömer Bolat (photo, center), Turkish Minister of Commerce (photo, center), at the 5â Forum Economic and Business Turkey-Africa, held in Istanbul from Thursday 16 to Friday 17 October 2025.

Trade between Turkey and Africa is expected to reach 40 billion dollars in 2025, after reaching 37 billion dollars last year, said Trade Minister Omer Bolat. The volume of trade Ankara's relationship with Africa has increased more than sevenfold since 2003, said the minister, quoted by the official Anadolu news agency.
