Turkey is targeting trade worth 40 billion dollars with Africa for the year 2025 against 37 billion dollars in 2024. Trade between Turkey and Africa is expected to reach 40 billion dollars in 2025, after reaching 37 billion dollars last year, said Trade Minister Omer Bolat. The volume of trade Ankara's relationship with Africa has increased more than sevenfold since 2003, said the minister, quoted by the official Anadolu news agency.

In addition, Turkish entrepreneurs have contributed in a way significant to the development of Africa by participating in 2,043 projects of development in African countries and by completing the work of construction worth nearly $100 billion, he added.
