The Public Treasury of Mali received the sum of 12.917 billion FCFA into its coffers on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, following a simultaneous issuance of 3-year and 5-year equivalent Treasury Bonds (OAT) carried out on the financial market of UEMOA. It was with the intention of financing the State budget of Mali.

The issuer set adjudication 35 billion FCFA according to UMOA-titles. Low overall submissions from investors were recorded at 12.922 billion FCFA at the end of the operation, giving a coverage rate of adjudication 36.92% of the amount put forward. The amount of successful bids amounts to 12.917 billion and the amount rejected to 5 million, i.e. an absorption rate of 99.96%. For 3-year bonds, investors whose bids have been successful will end up with a weighted average return of 7.14% and 7.44% for 5-year bonds.
