The General Directorate of Public Accountancy and of the Treasury (DGCPT) collected in Senegal a sum of 35.728 billion FCFA on the financial market of the West African Monetary Union (UMOA). It was Tuesday, December 9, 2025, after a broadcast simultaneous auction of assimilable treasury bills (BAT) for a period of 182 days and 364 days, as well as comparable Treasury obligations with a term of 3 years.

The fundraiser in Senegal aimed not only at to diversify public financing instruments, but also to respond to growing needs for financing infrastructure projects and development of the country. The issuer put up for auction an amount of 35 billion FCFA. At the same time, the amount of global bids, representing the interest of investors in these debt instruments public, settled at 35.828 billion FCFA.

The total amount of successful submissions amount to an impressive sum of 35.728 billion FCFA, this amount being exclusively based on 364-day vouchers as well as on obligations, while the amount of bids that were rejected amounts to 100 million CFA francs
