Morocco is accelerating its digital transformation. The ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Ministry of Higher Education, of Scientific Research and Innovation as well as the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform signed on 16 February in Rabat, a partnership agreement with the international group AXA. The agreement aims to strengthen national skills in the professions of Data, artificial intelligence and digital technologies.

The system provides for the deployment of initial training courses. and continuous, the creation of work-study courses and the support of projects research and development related to digitalization. It also aims to anticipate the needs for profiles specialized in cybersecurity, cloud, DevOps or testing, while improving the adequacy between training and the market of employment.

Public universities and schools under the Ministry of Industry will be mobilized to strengthen the bridges with the fabric economic, via internships and professional immersions.

This partnership is part of the strategy national digital transformation by 2030. The country is aiming for training 100,000 young people per year in digital skills and the creation of 240,000 skilled jobs by the end of the decade.
