SAPH officials located in the port area in the town of Treichville announced on Thursday April 8, 2021 the effective start of construction work on the new factory in the department of Soubré (Nawa).

The works started in March 2021 will probably end in November 2022. The cost of the investment amounts to 17,095 billion FCFA, for an additional capacity generated of 60,000 dry tons per year.
The plant will include, among other things, 02 weighbridges with a capacity of 60 tons each, reception areas located outside the perimeter of the plant. The plant will generate more than 600 direct and indirect jobs, business opportunities for companies in the town of Soubré, new opportunities for the 10,000 planters in the region.
"The construction of the Soubré plant, which we are launching today, in addition to making available a processing unit close to growers in the areas of Soubré, Guiglo, Man, Daloa, Issia and Gagnoa, constitutes today a strategic center for the national production of natural rubber", indicated the Minister of Agriculture Adjoumani Kouassi, who congratulated SAPH officials for the significant contribution to the Government's policy in the context of the development of our agricultural products.
