Any deputy wishing to put written questions to a government minister must submit his text to the President of the National Assembly who in turn transmits it to the government. The minister concerned must then provide answers to the parliamentarian within one month.

MP Gerry Taama has taken part in this exercise. The president of the NET-PDP parliamentary group, had asked the Minister of Digital Economy and Digital Transformation, Cina Lawson, for explanations on the disruptions observed in recent months on the "T-money" money transfer service of the Togocom group.

The MP particularly wanted to know, the amount of cash transfers from the two mobile operators in Togo (Togocom and Moov) over the last five years; the reasons for the malfunctions of the "T-money" service; the ongoing efforts to fight against fraud on the T-money and Flooz services and the ongoing actions in the framework for the privatization of Togocom to improve its services
