The Agricultural Bank (AMLA) was taken to court last week over a dispute over a money transfer platform. The company Gie Ciadelta, specialized in business support activities, accuses LBA of having stolen a project to develop a money transfer platform.

The former Caisse nationale de crédit agricole du Sénégal (Cncas), now the Banque Agricole, is in a drapery room. He is accused of having hijacked a project to develop a money transfer platform when the project would have been  submitted to him to obtain his support.
The plaintiffs, namely Abdoulaye Diagne, manager of the Gie Ciadelta and his collaborators ensure agricultural incubation and support to agricultural producers in the Senegal River Valley.
In front of the press, ciadelta's manager, Abdoulaye Diagne, explained that the dispute between him and LBA dates back to 2017, when his Gie accompanied 260 women's groups from 7 localities as part of the resilience building project financed by Osiwa, in order to facilitate their access to land, energy and climate change information.
According to him, Gie Ciadelta has set up a money transfer structure called Agricash with the aim of financing women with the income generated by this new money transfer system. Agricash approached LBA in the same way as other financial institutions with a view to obtaining an authorization before deploying the platform, to comply with Instruction No. 013-11-2015 of 10 November 2015 of the Bceao governing the terms and conditions for carrying out fast money transfer activities in the 'UEMOA.
The promoter Abdoulaye Diagne confides that while waiting for the response of LBA, he was surprised to see that the latter deploys the agricash project with the same name and with many ideas that they had developed there, February 12, 2020 on its own account.
