Vidiye Tshimanga, former strategic adviser to President Félix Tshisekedi, will be sentenced to three years in prison as part of his legal problems. Moreover, this is the sentence requested against him by the public prosecutor on 8 December 2022 at the Kinshasa/Gombe High Court. He was indeed accused of influence peddling, corruption and insulting the Head of State. For his part, his counsel requested that he be acquitted and that he be dismissed from any proceedings.
