The Cybersecurity Summit, organized by Togo and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), is being held from March 23 to 24, 2022 in Lomé.

African heads of state and governments, civil society organizations (CSOs), business leaders and IT specialists are expected to discuss the issue. And find innovative solutions on cybersecurity to provide answers to the challenges related to cybercrime.

Cyberattacks can occur even when robust IT security measures have been taken. According to a recent study by the cybersecurity company Kaspersky, 38% of large companies were victims of at least one targeted cyberattack in 2020.
