The Ivorian financier Tidiane Thiam was brought this Thursday, November 12 to the head of the board of directors of Rwanda Finance Limited (RFL), a company belonging to the government and whose main responsibility is to develop and promote the International Financial Center of Kigali (KIFC).

According to our information, the former head of Credit Suisse was appointed with six other members of the board of directors of the new body. He will have to bring his experience to the development of an institution that has a lot on its plate: making Rwanda a financial centre.

As a reminder, Tidiane Thiam previously held several high-level positions in several companies, and was a minister in Côte d'Ivoire.
