Opened on July 13, 2022, after six postponements, the trial between the Syndicat National des Fournisseurs de l'Etat de Côte d'Ivoire (Synafeci) and the Confédération Générale des Entreprises de Côte d'Ivoire (CGEC) has been postponed once again. A new postponement for the Synafeci-CGECI trial. The trial was prompted by the Synafeci's summons to account for GGECI's failure to pay 1/3 of the quota from the Special Equipment Tax (TSE). After a long series of hearings on Wednesdays: 13 April 2022, 27 April 2022, 18 May 2022, 1 June 2022, 30 June 2022 and 14 July 2022. The verdict that was expected after several postponements is not at its end. The parties and civil society are therefore wondering about the end of this process.
