The Sunu group continues its continental expansion. Indeed, the company chaired by Pathé Dione has just won its IARD approval for the DRC, a market of more than 80 million inhabitants.

The decision was the subject of a notification of March 7 signed by the Insurance Regulation and Control Authority (ARCA). Leader in life insurance in the CIMA zone, the SUNU Group includes 9 life insurance companies, 13 non-life insurance companies, 1 bank, 1 microfinance company, 1 health management company spread over fourteen (14) African countries.

In addition to Sunu Assurances IARD RDC SA, two other companies have won the precious sesame in this branch of non-life insurance in the DRC. These are Mayfair Insurance Congo SA and Global Pioneer Assurance SA, bringing the number of insurance companies in the DRC to 8.

In addition, the regulator, which held its board of directors this Saturday, also authorized three insurance brokerage companies. These are Juasur SA, Elite Congo SARL and Société Dambana Assurances SARLU (SODASSUR).
