On February 20, the Faso Yaar Society launched at Kaya, the operation selling consumer products in the region Koulse people. An initiative that is part of its mission supporting populations.

The launch of the operation to sell products from mass consumption aims to strengthen the purchasing power of households and to promote domestic production. According to the secretary general of the region des Koulsé, Bernadette Adenyo/Sermé, this initiative comes in a context marked by Christian Lent and Muslim fasting, period during which the needs of the populations are increasing. According to the regional director in charge of Commerce des Koulsé, Sidiki Koné, the operation will take place from 20 February to March 25, 2026. He specified that customers should check in on a platform, with the possibility of payment in cash or by transfer electronics.

The shops currently offer sugar, edible oil and juices, while soap is expected in next few days. The sale of these consumer products is taking place daily from 9 am to 3 pm, upon presentation of the national card Burkinabe identity document (CNIB) and within the limits of the quantities authorized by customer.
