Senegal recorded record customs clearances of more than 1000 billion CFA francs, for the 2020 fiscal year. More than 1020 billion FCFA of liquidations were recorded in the GAINDE information system, on the evening of December 31, 2020, against 985 billion FCFA in 2019".
According to this report, the fight against fraud has not been left out because day and night, Customs officers have valiantly stood up against all trafficking, especially those related to drugs, which are growing in scope.
I would therefore like to congratulate the Director General of Customs for the excellent service record of the soldiers of the economy, revealed Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo, Minister of Finance and Budget. And to affirm that the future must indeed be apprehended with hope in order to allow the Customs Administration of Senegal to continue to play its full part for an effective recovery of the Senegalese economy , despite the negative externalities of the Covid-19 pandemic.
