During a meeting held on May 20, the World Bank presented the Eter (Employment, Transformation and Economic Recovery) project to the Senegalese government and private sector.

The project aims to promote the digital transformation of the Senegalese economy to accelerate the competitiveness of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, both formal and informal, and the creation of jobs through access to technologies and skills. and the promotion of competitiveness at subsidiary level. This project is supported by public-private partnerships and better access to finance.

According to Victor Ndiaye, Vice President of the Investors Club of Senegal, Eter is an innovative project, created by the teams of the World Bank and those of the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Cooperation in a pragmatic approach to pooling programs to accelerate the productivity.
