A insurance company AXA Senegal continues to remain the undisputed leader in the damage insurance market in 2018 with a turnover of 14.769 billion FCFA.

From 14.769 billion FCFA in 2017, this turnover increased to reach 15.584 billion FCFA in 2018, an increase of 5.5%. This gives AXA a market share of 13.7% in 2018 compared to 14.1% in 2018.

ALLIANZ IARDT comes in second place with a turnover of 13.138 billion FCFA, or 12.7% of the market share.

PREVOYANCE ASSURANCES closes the top three with a turnover of 12.036 billion CFA francs, for 10.6% market share.

NSIA ASSURANCES comes in fourth position with a turnover of 8.609 billion FCFA, hence a market share of 7.6%.

The Top 5 is completed by SAHAM ASSURANCE which reached a turnover of 8.538 billion FCFA for a 7.5% market share.

The P&C classification is thus completed by AMSA with a turnover of 8.520 billion FCFA. At this level, it should be noted that this company achieved the strongest growth in the market in 2018: 57.6%.

ASKIA ASSURANCES with 7.331 billion FCFA, Sonam Sa with 6.614 billion FCFA, CNART Assurances with 6.399 billion FCFA, SUNU IARD with 6.060 billion FCFA, ASSURANCES LA SECURITE SENEGALAISE with 3.984 billion FCFA.

Added to this are SALAMA Assurances with 3.404 billion FCFA, Sonam Mutuelle with 3.089 billion FCFA. The latter made the biggest drop on the market in 2018.

Then come La Providence with 1.972 billion FCFA, WAFA with 1.923 billion FCFA, SONAC with 1.790 billion FCFA.

SAAR Assurances with a turnover of 1.731 billion FCFA, CNAAS with 1.578 billion FCFA and MAAS with 0.128 billion FCFA close the ranking.
