The Gabonese Association of Bank Users (AGUB), officially launched the second edition of the Financial Education Fair. The Amphitheater of the École Normale Higher technical education provides the framework for this activity.

Placed under the theme “Financial education and consumer protection in the age of digitalization”, the second edition of the Financial Education Fair aims to strengthen knowledge of populations on the financial products and services available. It has been launched in partnership with several national financial institutions and regional (BGFI, AFGBANK, FINAM, FINAM, EDG, COSUMAF, COBAC, GIMAC). The event brings together students from public and private higher education institutions, professionals and entrepreneurs. It aims to promote inclusion. financial, to improve banking rates, to increase the number of securities accounts and to promote a better understanding of the mechanisms financials.

The president of AGUB, Gildas Ndzengue Mbomba, has underlined that this exhibition is part of a dynamic of fight against financial illiteracy, with the aim of contributing to empowerment economic situation for citizens. “The Financial Education Fair is not a space for complaints or grievances, but a tool intended to strengthen the trust in partners and financial institutions”, he declared.

Participants will be made aware of topics such as banking, the use of cards banking, savings, mobile money, mobile banking or even investment in shares. The annual event ends this Friday.
