The management of the Société africaine de crédit automobile (SAFCA), listed on the Bourse régionale des valeurs mobilières (BRVM), has announced a 15% decline in the Abidjan-based financial institution's net banking income (NBI).

SAFCA's net banking income recorded a 15% decline in the first half of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021. According to company officials, the financial institution's NBI fell from CFAF 1.803 billion at June 30, 2021 to CFAF 1.527 billion at June 30, 2022, a reduction of CFAF 276 million. At the end of June 2022, SAFCA carried out operations with its customers of CFAF 45.102 billion against CFAF 45.041 billion at the end of June 2021.
