For more serenity in their management, the directors of Onad have decided to train and share their experiences. (DR) The National Office for Sanitation and Drainage (ONAD) wants to update itself on international standards for strategy development, management, implementation and risk monitoring. On December 29, 2020, the members of its Board of Directors participated in an upgrade seminar initiated by the Chen African Institute of Business Management (Ciage), at the Pullman Hotel in the Plateau. During this diploma course, which will allow auditors to have the necessary skills to meet needs and enrich their skills, the trainers reviewed the different axes of the business strategy. They taught the tools needed to achieve this, outlined the levels of intervention of the Board of Directors and the concerns that will need to be clarified in order to control the majority of the risks that could arise in the event of a change.

For Michèle Beugré, representative of Ciage, it is a pleasure to contribute to rooting good management practices in the daily lives of companies present in the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU), the area of competence in Africa of her consulting firm. According to her, the strategic development plan of companies, at the center of this training, represents the compass, the tool of cohesion between the general management and the Board of Directors of the organizations. Reason why his firm attaches great value to it. This plan, she says, must become for all the company's stakeholders a chance, an opportunity to learn and exchange, an opportunity to open up to the world. Because, "it is thanks to him that companies in the WAEMU zone will be able to better develop, be prosperous, progress, modernize and open up to this constantly changing world," she says.

Michèle Beugré also recalls that the State of Côte d'Ivoire pays particular attention to a stronger and more competitive administration. This, because fifteen years ago, the directors of companies in Côte d'Ivoire, she justifies, asked more and more to be trained, since the development of their structures and their sustainability depended largely on the effectiveness of their work in committee and their posture in the during council meetings.
